Sunday Worship

Join us at 9:15

We meet at 9:15 on Sunday mornings at the Armenian Church of the Martyrs in Worcester (22 Ormond Street).

As an intergenerational and cross-cultural church, children are always welcome at Grace. Some families keep their kids in the service, while others utilize our childcare service and children’s lesson time. If you have any questions, please ask.

Come by foot, bus, or car

Grace is a five-minute walk from WPI’s campus. For those driving, there is a small parking lot on the north side of the church as well as the parking lot for Elm Park Community School, which is adjacent to the church.

Hospitality

There will be ushers to greet you at the entrance of the church and provide a printed bulletin for that Sunday’s service. They can also help you find a seat, direct you to the location of children’s activities, and answer other questions.

Dress

Clothing is necessary, but there’s no dress code at Grace: some wear their Sunday best, some are more casual, while others come in jeans or shorts (depending on the season). Please dress as you feel most comfortable.

Worship

Our service involves scripture readings, prayers, and singing, as well as a sermon, offering, and celebration of the Lord’s Supper (eucharist).

From Sunday to Sunday, our worship reflects our belief that God has been working in the past and remains at work today. Accordingly, we stand on the shoulders of those who have come before us and our worship reflects this: we sing centuries-old hymns as well as songs written in the last few years—and much in between. Similarly, the preaching connects our ancient faith with our rapidly changing world. You can listen to sermons here.

Money

During our worship service, we take up an offering as an expression of our gratitude to God and our faith that he will care for us. As Christians, we are committed to living generously and pursuing freedom from envy and greed. If you are visiting, please feel no obligation to contribute.

Time

Our regular services run about an hour and fifteen minutes. We strive to be sensitive to the busy and scattered lives most of us lead, so even if you’re running late, please still join us!
