The best ways to explore the Christian faith or grow as a follower of Jesus is in relationship with the people of God. Visit a Sunday service (9:15-10:30 22 Ormond St.), attend a bible study, serve with us in the city or show up for one of our other events.
In these initial stages of beginning a church it is a unique time of being a smaller community where we can know each other well. We have events most weeks, beyond these are the one on one meetings or small groups that get together to serve, study, or simply enjoy one another’s company. An important part of our plan for developing friendships of depth and substance within the church is a ministry of decentralized small groups that will exist along lines of geography, service, and interest.
Currently we have bible studies, for men, women, and young adults. These meet in people’s homes or in coffee shops for study, prayer, and mutual support. We find that that moving towards God provides the common point in the midst of different lives. Contact Pastor Jarrett for more details.
At Grace you’ll find people whose lives have radically different rhythms, most of which are driven by our different areas of work: 9-5; self-employed; students; 2nd shift; stay at home mom’s; on call; semi-retired – we’ve got it all and scheduling is a challenge.
